Palma Junior, Wells Lilly, announced his presence atop the Santa Lucia league by winning the Monterey peninsula/Brian Rogers cross country jamboree in 18 minutes and 6 seconds. 89 runners from 8 schools competed in the 5,000 meter race at York School. Quintin Ruelas finished in 30th place, and Matt Miranda took 68th.
